B Series Panel System

B Series panels are are designed for suface mounting. They stand proud of the mounting surface by 6 mm and the panel edge is machined with a subtle round over to take away any sharpness. The maximum column and row count (5 x 24) accomodates virtually any perceivable application. Larger panels can be produced on special request. The panel base is machined from a compact laminate material.

Assembly Types

Panel functions are provided by component assemblies.

edit Name Description
AC Selector Switch The role of the selector switch is to select the source of AC power for the vessel and provide an "OFF" position to allow the isolation of the AC source as a safety feature to allow maintenance on the vessel electrics. In Australia and New Zealand the dockside power source is 240 volt / 15 amps. The majority of vessels have one single phase shore power input available to power the vessel when at the dock. When selected, the shore power inlet provides power to all vessel circuits. Larger vessels may require two shore power inlets that can share the vessel load. Power away from the dock can be sourced from either an inverter (using battery power) or an on-board generator set.

Circuit Breaker AC and DC circuit breakers offer circuit protection ratings from 5 to 300 amps. Actuator types include toggle, rocker and flat rocker.
Electrical Meter Single or dual electrical meter assemblies display key electrical parameters. Offered are volt, ampere and multimeters in either analogue or digital display formats.
Mimic Panel Mimic panels present a line drawing diagram of the application with strategically placed indicators. The panels diagramatically represent the staus of electrical circuits.
